These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PatenteGo mobile application ("PatenteGo", "the App", "we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose of the App
PatenteGo is a study tool for Italian driving theory learners. It provides practice questions, mock exams, explanations, mistake review, favorites, study statistics, and optional cloud sync.
2. No Official Affiliation
PatenteGo is an independent study application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Italian government, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, Motorizzazione Civile, or any official examination authority.
3. Educational Use Only
The App is provided for educational and practice purposes. We do not guarantee that using PatenteGo will result in passing any official driving theory exam. Official rules, exam formats, signs, and legal requirements may change. You are responsible for checking current official sources and following applicable law.
4. Accounts and Sign-In
You may use parts of the App as a guest. Some features, including cloud sync and cross-device progress restoration, may require sign-in with Apple, Google, or email/password. You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for any activity under your account.
5. Free Access and VIP Features
PatenteGo may offer free usage with limits, such as limited daily practice, limited mock exams, limited explanations, limited review access, or limited chapter access. VIP features may include expanded access to the question bank, unlimited practice, mock exams, full explanations, complete mistake review, study reports, and cloud sync.
We may change free limits, VIP features, feature names, and availability over time, provided that active subscribers continue to receive access to the core paid functionality described at the time of purchase.
6. Auto-Renewable Subscription
PatenteGo VIP is offered as a monthly auto-renewable subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device platform.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account or Google Play account after purchase confirmation.
- The subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Deleting the App does not automatically cancel your subscription.
- Refund requests and billing disputes are handled by Apple or Google under the applicable store policies.
7. Purchase Restoration
If you reinstall the App or change devices, you may use the restore purchase option where available. Restoration depends on the store account used for the original purchase and the current status of the subscription.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or redistribute the App or its question database except as permitted by law.
- Attempt to bypass subscription limits, entitlement checks, authentication, or security controls.
- Use the App in a way that disrupts the service or harms other users.
- Upload or submit unlawful, abusive, or harmful content if user-generated features are added in the future.
9. Content Accuracy
We aim to provide useful and accurate study content, but errors, omissions, translation issues, or outdated material may occur. You should verify important legal or exam-related information using official sources.
10. Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App to improve reliability, comply with platform requirements, or maintain the product. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PatenteGo is provided "as is" and "as available". We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including failed exams, lost study progress, lost data, or loss of opportunity, except where liability cannot be excluded by applicable law.
12. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and store information.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
