This Privacy Policy explains how PatenteGo ("PatenteGo", "the App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the PatenteGo mobile application.

1. Information We Collect
PatenteGo is a driving theory study application. We collect only the information needed to operate the App, sync progress, and manage subscriptions.
- Account information: If you sign in, Firebase Authentication may provide your user ID, email address, display name, and authentication provider information such as Apple, Google, or email login.
- Study progress: We may store question progress, answers, wrong question counts, favorites, mastered questions, mock exam history, language preference, daily usage counters, and related learning statistics.
- Subscription status: We process information needed to determine whether your PatenteGo VIP subscription is active, restored, expired, or unavailable.
- Local app data: The App stores a built-in driving theory question database and your local learning progress on your device.
- Technical information: Firebase and Apple services may process device, app, authentication, and purchase-related technical data required to provide their services.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide driving theory practice, mock exams, explanations, mistake review, favorites, and study reports.
- To save and sync your learning progress across devices when you are signed in.
- To apply free usage limits and unlock VIP features for active subscribers.
- To restore purchases and maintain subscription access.
- To improve reliability, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and maintain the App.
3. Third-Party Services
PatenteGo uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase Authentication: used for sign-in with Apple, Google, and email/password.
- Cloud Firestore: used to store signed-in users' learning progress, daily usage counters, and VIP entitlement state.
- Apple App Store and Google Play billing: used to process auto-renewable subscriptions and purchase restoration.
These services process data under their own terms and privacy policies. Apple or Google handles payment information directly; PatenteGo does not receive or store your full payment card details.
4. Data Storage and Security
Some data is stored locally on your device. If you sign in and use cloud sync, selected learning progress and account-related records are stored in Firebase. We use reasonable technical measures provided by the platform and Firebase to protect data. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
5. Subscriptions and Purchases
PatenteGo VIP is an auto-renewable subscription managed by the app store where you purchased it. Purchase confirmation, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling are managed by your Apple ID account or Google Play account settings. PatenteGo stores only the entitlement status needed to unlock VIP features.
6. Data Retention
We keep account and learning progress data for as long as needed to provide the App and sync your progress. Local data remains on your device until you delete it, reset progress, uninstall the App, or clear the App's data. Cloud data may remain until you request deletion or until it is no longer needed for App operation.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- You can use the App as a guest for local study progress.
- You can sign out from the App settings.
- You can reset local learning progress inside the App.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
- You may request deletion of cloud account data by contacting us at patentegoapp@gmail.com.
8. Children
PatenteGo is intended for driving theory learners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. International Data Transfers
Firebase, Apple, and related service providers may process data in countries other than your country of residence. By using the App, you understand that data may be processed where these providers operate.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
